A Busy Tuesday

Today, we did drive again to the Bureau of Internal Revenue in Trece Martires in Cavite for the final processing of our tax returns. We discovered a new direction going there with no traffic at all and its a sort of a nature trip. We have lunch at SM Dasmarinas again and browsed around the mall.

I didnt't remember the last time we did go to the cinema, but this movie Men in Black 3 is really amazing. We did watched this fantasy movie of Will Smith at SM Dasmarinas.

My Favorites

I'm really very happy when my friends Lani and Steve gave me my all-time favorite- Tupig. It is a native delicacy of Pangasinan made with glutinous rice and grated coconuts wrapped in wilted banana leaves and cooked over live coals.

During the visit of my nieces from Manila, they cooked Ginataang halo-halo which is another favorite of mine. It is a Filipino snack or dessert using rice flour cook with coconut milk, mix with sugar and other fruits like ripe banana, jackfruit, sweet potato and taro.

Another favorite is the small bibingka from Bibingkinitan. It is a sweet rice cake made with rice flour, coconut and chees, its really so yummmmy. I'm really going to miss all of this foods when we return to Germany in a few weeks.

Full House Again

After the Flores de Mayo in our place in San Pedro, Laguna, its now my turn to adopt my relatives from Manila. They came to support that our family is hosting this year. I've never seen them for a long time and this event served as a reunion for all of us. We have a wonderful time as i showed them around Southforbes. We cooked together while the kids are enjoying the pool. We have a wonderful time and let our pictures speaks for themselves.

Flores de Mayo 2012

This year, our family hosted the important events in our place in San Pedro, Laguna, the Pabasa during the Holy Week, the Town Fiesta last February and the highlight is the Flores de Mayo. The black cross was with us for one year and now it has a new home and family. Thank God that the weather cooperated during the parade of beauties. Its all worth the family effort and of course it will not be successful without the help of our neighbors and friends.
