The Mini Car

 Our family friend Yna and Jim Haskett bought a small car which they will just use around South Forbes. Its really cute and three people will fit inside the mini car.

The Wedding of Francis and Decerie

 The couple first met when they are in elementary so they are childhood sweethearts. Two years ago, they are supposed to have this dream wedding but it was cancelled because of pandemic. The day before their wedding Mayor Sara Duterte declared a lockdown which will start on that evening, so we had to rush back to Manila taking a business class. Its a good decision though because the lockdown lasts 3 months. Anyway, finally they already have their wedding and also blessed with a cute little daughter. To you Borgy and Dec, congratulations and best wishes.

 

We're Back In Davao

 Its nice to be back again in Davao but this time not for rest and recreation but to attend the wedding of Francis and Decerie. They are just like my extended family, the groom being the nephew of my best friend Joy. His mother is also close to me and we known each other for more than two decades. Anyway, we celebrated Nini's birthday at Abreeza Mall which is just a stone throw away from our hotel. We also visited the house of Doc Gerd and Beng,  a longtime friend of ours and they also decided to retire here. Two thumbs up for our hotel Seda Abreeza for their friendly staff and good service.

Dirk's New Favorite

The newly opened Japanese-Korean restaurant in Southwoods mall becomes the new extension of our kitchen. In fairness, their foods really tastes good and its worth the price. 

 

My Holter

 Last week a Holter  was attached to my body to monitor my heart activity for 24 hours. Since my hospitalization last January, i am suffering from irregular heart rate and my cardiologist recommend this device. Holter is a small wearable device that records heart rhythm and can be used to diagnose heart disorders. My cardiologist will interpret the result next week and by the way its really uncomfortable wearing this for a day.

By the way, the price of gasoline increased again, that is why we're limiting our outside activities to save on fuel. but i don't save when it comes to car wash...
