After our successful joint tree planting project, its time to enjoy the water park and bond with Lion friends. We enjoyed swimming at the pool and tried other amenities. Though its just fifteen minutes drive from our home, its my first time to visit the Splash Island. We also enjoy the foods courtesy of the host Lions club while discussing with members our next project.
It was a nice experience to join the tree planting project of 4 Lions club at Splash Island in Binan. I have learned a lot when it comes to planting trees and got to meet other other Lion and Leo members. We also met the owner of the water park who is so humble and down to earth. I just hope that the next generation will take care of our environment and save our precious planet earth.
Time flies fast and its already the first death anniversary of a very good friend Les Huston. A mass was held at Bel Air church in which i was not able to attend but i always pray for him everyday. An early dinner followed at All4U korean restaurant in Vista Mall. I miss this kind of bonding with friends and i am really very happy to see them again.
Last week, the SRCLC unveiled a Lion marker at the runabout of Barangay Dita, in Santa Rosa, Laguna. It was attended by the city Mayor, District governor of Lions club, past Presidents and other club members. It was our legacy project and i am very proud to be part of this club who serves the people in need.
Yesterday we had lunchout at Max's restaurant for the advance birthday celebration of my eldest sister, father's day celebration and for my nephew Martin for he recently passed the board licensure examination for Physical Therapist. Its nice to be with family again updating each other on our respective lives. For me, family is everything.
