My ER Journey

 Last sunday, i drive myself to the emergency room of Unihealth Southwoods  because of a fractured and swelling ankle. Its really a bad fall which happened because i don't watch my step. Anyway, it already happened and now i have to stay at home because its really hard to walk. In the ER, i got two vaccines of anti-tetanus and one pain reliever IV. They also x-rayed both my legs particularly the ankle and i have a hairline fracture. It doesn't need operation at the moment and even if i need one, it is not possible because of my warfarin meds. We really need to be careful in everything we do and i am very grateful to the market vendors who helped me and the ER nurses and doctors of USHMC.

The Week That Was

 It was Lenten season last week and as a tradition we stayed most of the time at home.  But I was able to visit my family in Binan and here in San Pedro. Our new baby, Chloe Isabelle was also born last week and we pick them up in the hospital. We also go to the mall for lunchout last saturday and Easter sunday, i hear mass online. I was also able to visit San Pedro Church and our neighbors helped us installed our mailbox & fixed our door for Dirk's easy access.

A Blessed Easter Everyone !!!

 The Lent is the season when we refocus ourselves on the passion, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. God so love the world that HE gave his only son and die for our sins. This is the time of the year to reflect, repent and do something good for others. Today God has risen and happy easter sunday to all. 

 

Other House Renovation

 The renovation of our other house in San Jose Village is almost done. We now have  a new toilet, kitchen counter, screen doors, mosquito screens on all windows and repainted rooms. I decided not to sell it because of increasing value and real estate is  a good investment. Hopefully, i can find a tenant who will really take good care of this house. 

Lions Induction and Anniversary

 Last saturday, i attended the 39th anniversary, thanksgiving and 40th induction ceremonies of Lions club district 301-A2 at the grand ballroom of Okada, Manila. It was attended by various lions club in metro manila and some province in the south. It was a nice experience seeing again fellow lions after two years because of the pandemic. Our club, the SRCLC received some awards and citation as one of the model club from the Lions club International. I am really happy and proud to be a member of this number 1 charity club in the world. We have helped a lot of people around the world and we will continue to serve and unite in service.
