Fully Vaccinated

 Finally, our second jab of covid 19 vaccine was finished yesterday at Ayala Westgrove. It is very important to be vaccinated to have some immunity against the virus. The whole process yesterday was done in just 30 minutes. Thanks to the frontliners, doctors and nurses in the village who volunteered to make it more faster and easier. Just like the first dose, we don't feel any side effects, at least for now, we are protected. Of course even if we have the vaccine, the pandemic is still far from over and we still need to follow strict health and safety protocols like wearing face mask, face shields, social distancing and just stay at home. After our vaccines, we treated ourselves with a sumptuous lunch at Peri peri in Ayala mall solenad.

Dirk's Day Out

 Dirk was so happy because he can now eat outside and visit shopping malls. For the past weeks, he just stayed at home because 65 years are now allowed to go outside unless really needed. We also started having our lunch in restaurants around paseo, vista mall and ayala mall solenad. 

He also got his cravings for food whether he likes, japanese, italian and other international dishes..

My Monday

 I started the week with application for the renewal of my postal ID in San Pedro Post Office. I am not regularly using Astrid's car but i have its oil changed and other service maintenance. We also visited our water station and get the stuff send by my generous daughter Rose Belle in Canada. I also bring some pillows at Astrid/Buddy's house and thoroughly check the house if its properly maintained by our caretaker. 

General Cleaning

 Due of the pandemic, i was not able to have our house thoroughly cleaned because of the restrictions on stay out helpers. Last sunday, our maintenance group headed by our gardener did a general cleaning on our house. It is really hard to have a big house but it is very important to maintain the cleanliness for our own safety and protection...

And after our general cleaning, its netflix time watching my favorite k drama and the noontime show on  the other tv...

Peri Peri

 Peri peri restaurant in Ayala Mall Solenad in Nuvali becomes Dirk's favorite.  They offered south african inspired menu with signature charcoal chicken and sauces. Aside from our senior discount, we also got some percent off because of our Shakeys supercard. They have varieties of dishes from chicken, fish, pork, pastas and more. Highly recommended this restaurant because the foods are really delicious and affordable.

By the way, also in Ayala Mall Solenad is the Catmmunity Pawntry for stray cats and  I admired this mall for being pet friendly...

Back to Lunchout

 The quarantine protocols is now back to GCQ which means Dirk can now go to the malls and have lunch outside but with limited capacity. He was so happy eating in different restaurants and even ordered his favorite foods. Of course we always followed health and safety protocols because Covid 19 is still very much around.
