My Christmas Decorations and Nativity Collections

This year, my christmas decorations are just very simple. I put up a christmas tree and decorated the stairs railing with santa socks and colorful decors. I also placed my Nativity/Belen collections on my consoles to add to the spirit of christmas. Amidst, the pandemic, we Filipinos tried to be festive and happy eventhough we experienced a lot of challenges and trials. My christmas wish is for this corona virus to be gone soon and may our country recovered from economic losses. I also prayed for the good health, safety and protection of my family and friends.

By the way, its now Advent season and  i already lighted the first candle, the candle of Hope. Of course we never lose hope in our lives, Filipinos are survivors and we hope that we survive these challenging times.

Back to Zumba

Its more than a year since we have our last zumba session because of  the taal eruption and the pandemic.  Last wednesday, we started to refresh our dance moves  and we are all happy to zumbond again.

Unplanned Bonding

There are times that unplanned bonding with friends or spontaneous get together happened. But for me, either its organize or not, what matters most is the quality of time spent with them and the fun that goes with it.

We also had a spontaneous decision today to pay our yearly real estate tax in the municipal hall of Silang. That also serve as another bonding with friends.

Mass and Prayer for Tiarra

In our catholic tradition, a prayer and mass should be offered to a departed loved one on the 40th day after his/her demise. That's what we've done to our dear friend Tiarra, a mass was held at their home. This is a way to protect the soul of the departed as they finalize their place in the afterlife. We know that our friend is now happy in heaven and no more pain. She will always be remembered as a good wife, mother and friend.

A Day with my Sisters and Nieces

Last wednesday, we did drive to Plaridel, Bulacan to visit my nieces. It took us more than two hours to reach their place but its all worth it. We bond, eat, laugh and shopped for plants in the Guiginto area. We also tasted their milk tea and to be honest, its my first time to taste this drink . Their Koffiteria milk tea business is so far is doing good because of its taste and affordable price. We are really very happy to see them again because the last time was during the Taal eruption last January.
