Royal Tyrrell Museum

The Royal Tyrrell museum in Drumheller is a canadian tourist attraction with a unique, world class facility and a center of palaeontological research known for its collection of thousands of ancient fossils with special reference to Alberta's heritage. These skeletal  reconstructions captures our imaginations and leave lasting impressions. It was really a nice experience and the kids really enjoyed seeing those ancients creatures.

Leah's Birthday Celebrations

Its good that we have lots of pinoy friends here in Airdrie and every week there are always some occasion to look forward to. Just like yesterday, we attended the 25th birthday of a close family friend of my daughter Belle. We are just together few days before at the house blessing of Buendia couple and it seems that they don't run out of topics to talked about.  After all they are very supportive and helpful of each other and thats what friends are for ......

Owning a property here in Airdrie is already an achievement for Jasmin and Jovic. We attended the house blessing of their home sweet home together with family friends. We just wish them all the best and God bless their new house...

Filipino Appreciation Night

The number of filipinos here in Calgary is increasing and so with the number of events. Last weekend, we attended the Filipino appreciation night at Best Western hotel here in Airdrie. It was such a nice scene looking at fellow pinoys and some canadians celebrating our heritage and culture. 

LGBT Pride in Airdrie

LGBT pride month is also celebrated here in Canada. Just like George Takei said, we should indeed be calm, in the face of difference and live our lives in a state of inclusion and wonder at the diversity of humanity.  This month we are celebrating the strides that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people have made in history. They are now accepted in the society where we live and just like other people, they also need respect.
