Jojo's 60th Birthday Celebrations

Jocelyn Mauleon or Jojo as we fondly called her is a family friend for more than two decades. She is one of my very true friends who patiently listen to all my problems and she even act as my personal adviser. She is celebrating her 60th birthday today but i attended her celebrations last sunday at Twin Place Oaks in Mandaluyong city. The event was attended mostly by her family, close friends and relatives. It was really a nice feeling seeing her again after seven years but our communications never stopped because of facebook

Movie Time

Dirk cannot contain his happiness watching the movie Avengers Endgame, the biggest film for 2019.  He said the movie is entertaining and exciting  and delivered a satisfying finale to Marvel's epic infinity saga...

Holy Week in Bed

Happy Easter everyone !!! Its quite a late greeting but it comes in my heart. By the way, its really very hard to spend some days of Holy week in bed. I got an allergic reaction on food or rather a mild case of food poisoning.  I suffered LBM, throwing up, dizziness, headache, joint and muscle pains, chill and its really hard to walk. Thanks God i'm now recovering slowly but there are still lots of acids on my stomach. This is the third time i experienced this and i will be more careful next time on my food intake.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Our muslim neighbor friends Hamdin and Edna,  throw a despedida cum thanksgiving dinner for us last thursday at their palatial home.  So over grilled chicken, fish and other arab foods we have time for catching up on each other.  

Visiting Mike

After two months of hospitalization after his motor accident, Mike, a good friend of ours is finally home for further care and rehabilitation. Thanks God  his condition is gradually improving for he is surrounded by loved ones and good friends.

Last week, we also visited Coco's mom who is also sick because of old age.  Praying for the recovery not only for our sick friends but to all who are suffering from different illness.

SRCLC Meeting

Last April 15, a general membership meeting for our Santa Rosa Centennial Lions Club was held at Coloma residence in Dita. Majority of the members attended thats why we were able to elect officers for 2019 to 2020.  Future events and club projects were also discussed, good luck to the new set of officers for together, WE SERVE.

Dirk and Dumbo Chef

Dirk really like to have pictures with the chef of any restaurant. That is his way of complementing the chief cook for preparing sumptuous and delicious foods for their customers.  In the picture is the chef of Dumbo Rustika Asian cuisine in Vista Mall where Dirk liked very much their Thai halo halo.

Friday Food Trip

With regards to our tummyland, we are always on a  looked out for new restaurants and dining experience. Last friday, we tried the newly opened Hapchan, a chinese restaurant in nuvali. I'm really not a big likers of chinese foods but for the sake of experience and my hubby's wish, i gave in to his never ending demands. For me, its just the same as other chinese resto and and making Dirk happy is enough for me. His wish never ends there, he still have dessert at Kuya J with his favorite ube macapuno halo halo.

By the way, before our food trip, Yna and me attended the zumba at San Jose III...
