Food Trip

Everyday is a new experience for our adventurous tummy.    At Vista Mall , we tried the new Dumbo  restaurant  and Arroz Ecija located at the middle of the mall. The specialties of the two dining places are smoked ribs and pinoy dishes /delicacies. We tried their foods and in fairness it also taste good.

Tuesday Lunchout

I'm really controlling Dirk's diet but today is his cheat day because we feasted on burger and spare ribs at Burgoo. Look at the happiness on his face ....

Aileen's Birthday Celebrations

Our good neighbor friend Aileen reached another milestone in her life yesterday.  She celebrated her 40th birthday with us with a lunch treat at LZM in Nuvali, Solenad. While we are eating bulalo, pansit, crispy pata, bangus, ginisang ampalaya and pakbet,  we are also busy updating each others lives. It never ends there, an afternoon snack followed at a nearby coffeeshop. While we decided to go home, our other friends still proceeded to Aileen's house for more chitchat, dinner, alcohol drinking till midnight.

Our German Friends

We are lucky to have some german neighbor friends here in our subdivision. Though they don't live here permanently because they are still working in Germany, still we are very happy to bond with them during their vacations here.

Stations of the Cross

Yesterday we had our annual Stations of the Cross which started at Banaba going to South Forbes Villas. I am very happy that the 11th Station cross was in front of our house and luckily i am also the reader.  After the 14 stations, a mass was held in our main clubhouse followed by a light dinner.

Dirk and Tims

We have a power interruption for 5 hours here in our place, so Dirk and me decided to just hang out at Tim Hortons. We were able to consume two combo meals, one ala carte and his new favorite timbits. Somehow we were able to while away the time while waiting for the power to resume.

Our Kind of Monday

We started our day by driving to Pramana subdivision for an endorsement of our yearly greenfield stickers. We then have lunch at Burgoo and then  Dirk watched the movie Captain Marvel while i do some grocery shopping...
