My German Family

My sister and her eldest son Andreas with family visited us here yesterday. My nephew has three daughters, one of which are twins. I think they enjoyed their overnight stay or rather their vacation here in the Philippines. Its the kids first time here and  they really enjoyed the stuffed toys we gave to them and swimming in the kiddie pool as well.

Mother Lily@91

The mother of our good neighbor friend turned 91 yesterday with a colorful theme party at their place in Chateaux de Paris. Unlike last year that it was held at Marriott Hotel in Manila, this year is just low key with just very close friends and selected family members in attendance. Anyway, the food was great, the decors and the birthday lady is beaming with happiness.

Val's Post Birthday Celebrations

My friend Val's  birthday is Valentines day but she celebrated her birthday yesterday with close friends. She prepared delicious korean foods which is her specialties because of her korean husband. The gathering of friends was great and so was the fund raising we did to help  Mike, a good friend of ours who is still unconcious in the hospital after a motorbike accident.

PAL Mabuhay Lounge

Its our second time in General Santos city and every trip is a memorable one. I felt that i am the adopted daughter of the city because of my friends there.  By the way, the General Santos airport is under renovation so there are no stores inside the waiting area. Its good the PAL Mabuhay Lounge accommodated us with free snacks while waiting for our flight back to Manila.  To have access on local and international lounges is one of the perks of being a member of BDO Elite club.

By the way, since its our second time here, we just relaxed by the pool and do mall hopping and food tripping.

Joint Birthday Celebrations

My best friend Joy is now a golden girl while Katie and Marie turned 18.  The event is also a gathering of relatives and close friends.  The program starts with a mass celebrated by Fr. Brian, a family friend. Everybody enjoyed the party where foods, drinks and prizes are in abundance. Fun and laughter among the family members dominated the hall of Tierra Montana Hotel. It was a night to remember for everyone especially to my BFF Joy who flew in from Germany and choose to celebrate another milestone in their lives with their loved ones.
