Store Hopping in Calgary

The weather was nice so we took advantage of driving to Calgary for some store and mall hopping cum shopping. Compare to other cities, Calgary is not that populated and driving around is not a problem. We visited some malls and the store closest to Pinoy hearts, the T and T at Pacific Place. Filipinos often meet there for some catching ups, eating pinoy dishes and sending money and balikbayan boxes. It was my first time there and i was amazed of other asian stores.

Do It Yourself

One thing that i like here in Canada is the more advance technologies in all aspects. Just like the self order at Mcdonalds, self check out at Superstore and the self dispensing drinks at Wendys. Another thing is the cardless accumulation on points because of the apps in the cellphone, just tapped it and it already generate points in your name. Hopefully our country can catch up with the same system and i think some stores are already doing upgrades and updates in the buying and payment systems.

Chianti's Birthday Celebrations

My grandson's bestfriend Chianti celebrated his 8th birthday at their house last friday despite the sadness the family is suffering right now. His mother just lose her almost 5 month old baby and its really devastating because the birthday boy is looking forward to his baby brother at the end of this year. It's God's will and everything happen for a reason. With the support of family and friends, i know they can pass this difficult times. By the way, it was a busy day for us because the two daughters of our neighbor was with us and playing with kitkit.

Happy Dirk and Kiddos

Our big boy Dirk and the kids were very happy because of my daughter's Wendys and Mcdonalds treats. They also enjoyed swimming at Genesis place and playing with neighbor kids.

Lunch at Fusion Sushi

A drive to downtown Calgary is not complete without dining at Fusion Sushi restaurant. Its an eat all you can restaurant and they made fresh sushis and other japanese foods. I don't eat sushi but i enjoyed seeing Dirk with very happy tummy. Anyway, i eat only fried rice and tempura but suffer later at night because of my seafood allergy.
