Aliwan Fiesta 2018

For almost a week, i was not able to blog because a PLDT cable near the main road was stolen thus we don't have internet and our landline phone is not functioning. Now i'm back again in the blogosphere and very happy to share my experience in Aliwan Fiesta 2018 in Quirino Grandstand in Manila. Aliwan Fiesta is an annual event that gathers different cultural festivals of the Philippines. The ultimate goal is to share the phenomenal diversity and history of the Filipino cultures with not only Filipinos but the rest of the world.It was really an amazing experience watching those colorful floats and creative street dancing of different participants. I was also able to bond with my three bff's and we do lots of catching up together. I also took the opportunity to visit Rizal Park in which i was not able to set foot for almost four decades. The park gives a lot of childhood memories and i remember my nanay who always brings us there every weekend.

Sofie's Dedication and First Birthday

Yesterday, we attended the dedication and first birthday celebrations of Sofie May, the first born of a very good family friend Jovy. It was held in Mcdonalds Southwoods and i came together with my sister, nephew, my daughter Arianne and her children Mimi&Jarred. The event was a big success because kids and big kids alike are very happy with the food, the treats, parlor games and the mascots.

SRCLC Organizational Meeting

Last saturday, we conducted the third and final meeting for the chartering of our new club the Santa Rosa Centennial Lions club. Hopefully we will be able to finish all the process necessary for our club application to the Lions Club International ....
