S&R Sale

Our neighbor friends and residents in our area are always waiting for the great S&R sale. Some items are really a good finds because of the buy one take one sale. For us, its an opportunity to start shopping for the holiday season and of course for our daily needs.

Lions Anniversary and Induction

The heavy rains around metro manila didn't stop us from attending the 35th anniversary and 36th induction ceremonies of Lions Club International. It was held at the Fiesta Pavillon of Manila Hotel attended by delegates of District 301 A2 Lion members. We came in United Nations costume and i choose a kuwaiti attire which we bought there during our vacations 8 years ago. The program was well organized and the foods are delicious too. Anyway, once again the spirit of Lionism and the will to serve overwhelmed in the speeches of officers.

1st Southforbes Bowling Tournament

Our first bowling tournament which was held yesterday at The Mills was a success. This is a project of socials committee where i am a member to be able to reach out with our neighbors. The friendly competition was fun and we enjoyed the game very much. We are grouped in 6 teams and i belong to the black team. Thank God i did it again, being the highest scorer, tournament's spiker and we are second in team standing. I won several gift certificates from starbucks which i will used for my blowout victory to my neighbor friends. I can see the happiness, bonding and enjoyment of the homeowners and hopefully they will support again our next project and activities.

Because of our vacation in Boracay, i was not able to join my friends in our zumba session. But now i'm catching up with them ....

Greenbelt Adventure

Together with our neighbor friends, we did go again to Makati area via point to point bus. It was really convenient and we save money because of this big bus. This time, the bus is almost full which means that many people are now aware and getting more practical. We browsed around Landmark/Greenbelt and had lunch at Oyster bar Via Mare restaurant. With good food plus good friends= good times.
