Pig Pen

Pig Pen is the new restaurant in ayala malls nuvali specializing in international and filipino foods. I tried their best selling crispy pork sisig and its really delicious. The good thing about this restaurant is that i also got a 20 percent discount which is supposed to be just for dirk.

Sushi and more

Dirk's all time favorite is sushi. In canada and in here, it becomes his favorite dinner. We're almost two weeks here and he still cannot get over with our month long vacation in calgary. In fact, he is already looking for a flight back and additional luggage.

Cravings Satisfied

It was a nice evening with a very good friend of ours Thomas. He invited us for dinner at 2.0 german restaurant in Laguna central just 5 minutes drive from our house. We enjoyed the foods and the bonding as well.

Lunchouts

Its really a routine for us to have lunchouts everyday which we also did while we were in Canada. Rain or shine, its a must for Dirk to take his lunch on our extended kitchens in Nuvali or Vista Mall....

Weekend Visitors

Last sunday, Gel and her soon to be husband came to visit us here in southforbes. They came from stilts in calatagan, batangas for their food tasting and venue inspection. Her groom, an indian national is a very good man and a traveller just like us. By the way, they call themselves travelling monkeys because of their passion for travel. I will stand as one of their principal sponsor for their september 2 beach wedding.

Back to Reality

We are happy because we had a smooth flight from Calgary to here but we are also sad because we will miss my daughter's family. Hopefully God willing we can return and stay there longer next time

The first thing Dirk did was to have a haircut cum shaving.We also visited a family friend and pick up the dogs.

Friends' Visit

Our neighbor friends, the Hasketts and also former san pedro mcdo ladies visited us on our last night in canada. Our catching up moments was more on our families and nostalgic back to memory lane. We really enjoyed our vacation and time seems to run very fast. We are now back here in southforbes and thank God for the safe flight. We will surely miss our life there and hopefully we can stay there longet next time. We very much appreciated my daughter's generosity together with her partner Elland.

By the way, we also had our last minute shopping at crossiron mall ...

Prior to that we alo spend time with Jane and her kids for catching up moments...

Exploring Edmonton

It was a nice experience visiting Edmonton which is more than 3 hours drive from my daughter's place. my niece and her family resides there and they serve as our tour guide with our Edmonton adventure. It is also our weekend family bonding and let our pictures speaks for themselves...
