Bowling and Bonding with Friends

Yesterday, we were able to play bowling at The Mills with friends especially the Sawyers because they will be back in UK on saturday. The nine years that we're together during their vacation here had lots of happy memories and i'm sure we're going to miss Lucy's laughter and Brian's sweet concern on us. Their house here in southforbes is up for sale and we just hope that they can still visit us here in the Philippines.

Monday@Fridays

After the Miss Universe contest today, the Sawyers invited us for lunch at Fridays restaurant in Nuvali. The food was great and so was the bonding cum chatting with neighbor friends.

Miss Universe 2016

Eighty six candidates around the world competed for the title of Miss Universe today in the Philippines. For the past two months, it became a miss universe fever here in our country because of the presence of beautiful ladies who had lots of activities prior to this day. Of course, we watched the live telecast first at home and then i transferred to Huston's house because their television is more modern than ours. Anyway, the Miss Philippines representative Maxine Medina was among the top 6 and when it was reduced to 3, it was colombia for the 2nd runner up, haiti, first runner up and the Miss Universe crown goes to non other than Miss France.

Mediterranean Sunday

For a change, we dined today at Mediterranean restaurant where we tried their pasta, kebaps and tiramisu. Their specialties are greek and arab cuisines and in fairness, their food though expensive tastes good....

Weng's 60th Birthday Celebration

A very good friend of ours celebrated her 60th birthday at their posh residence in Town and Country Homes in Tagaytay. It was an all day event attended by her close friends and relatives. Weng and her husband will return to Germany next month to resume her work while Heinz will just stay at home being a retiree. They are a very good couple and we just wish Weng on her senior year good health, more blessings and happiness...
