Till Next Visit Janine and Andy

After a month long vacation here in the Philippines, Janine and Andy returned to Germany to continue their studies. Its a mixed feeling for us, HAPPY that they were able to visit us and they are safe while here, SAD because Dirk is going to miss his only daughter.

Burgers and More

After trying pinoy foods at Kanin Club last sunday, today is burger day at Brothers Burger. Janine and Andy will fly back to Germany tomorrow and their month long vacation with us is very memorable for Dirk. Sure, Chay and King will missed Janine because she loves dog so much. Dirk is very happy with their vacation here and hopefully they can visit us again in the future.

Because of the diving course in Anilao Beach Resort in Batangas, Andy's ear was infected so we did drive to Medical City for consultation with EENT. The doctor prescribed him antibiotics and pain reliever.

Welcome Back Mama Mary

I'm so happy that Mother Mary is with us again. Now on its second year, the southforbes Cenacle group continue bringing Mama Mary to SF catholic residents. We prayed the rosary and personal sharing based on the gospel, Over pansit, ensaymada and cinnamon cake we discussed how to encourage more participants in our cenacle group and some of the problems in our community.

Beer Buddies No More

Yesterday we visited the wake of a very dear neighbor friend at Eternal Garden. Dirk cried upon seeing the body of his beer buddy. We always remembered Ted for his sense of humor and a good conversationalist. Because of his lingering illness, he suffered a lot and now no more pain for him for he is now at peace with our Lord.Praying for the eternal repose of his soul and he will be in our hearts forever.

Busy Friday

I started my day by driving to the PLDT office for downgrading of my plan and change of unit. When i have lots of errands to do, i always ask our family driver to drive for me. We then go to the emission testing for the transfer and registration of our new car. After that we did tried to buy a car accessory for our car exhaust system but it needs to be ordered.We then drive back home to pick up Dirk, Janine and Andy for lunch at Kingbee restaurant. Next we drive to BIR Binan for the assessment of the capital gains tax for our water station property. I am not successful because of the slow movement of the assigned numbers and each filer needs at least 20 minutes for the processing. We then pick up dirk for his dental appointment at Sta Rosa Hospital and Medical Center. The last activity is the induction of new members of Calamba Host Lions Club. Its nice to see again my Lion friends and we're home close to midnight.

Rest in Peace Ted

Our good friend and neighbor Ted Shepherd passed away today due to multiple organ failures. Dirk was so sad because they are beer buddies and a frequent visitor of the Shepherd abode. I remember him as a jolly person, intelligent and accommodating. He has lots of patience with Dirk and he is a good member of the southforbes community. He is now at peace with the Lord and no more pains for him. Praying for the eternal repose of his soul.

Movie Bonding

Dirk, Janine and Andy watched Ghostbuster while me and our neighbor friends watched the Imagine You and Me movie of phenomenal loveteam Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza. The movie was nice which was shot at Lake Como in Italy. I seldom watch a movie only when i like the film and the actors.

International Restaurants

Everyday, we're on a food tripping, trying different international restaurants. For the past three days, we satisfied our cravings for german, japanese and english foods.
