Lion Mikael and Crissa's Wedding

Yesterday, we attended the wedding reception of Lion Mikael and Crissa at Ding Hao Cuisine in Calamba city. The groom is the unico ijo of our Calamba Host President Marvie Robles. The newlyweds are a picture of happiness and we're just wishing them all the best in their married life.

My New Laptop

In the fast-changing world of communication technology, the next new gadget always seems to be faster and more competetive. Its moving too fast and i dont want to be left behind thats why i bought a new laptop at Sillicon Valley which will serve as my back up for all my files and pictures. I admit i'm not a techie person but i admired the new technologies available in the market.

My OFW Daughters

My daughter RoseBelle is working in Tim Hortons Canada for almost 4 years while Astrid has been away only for 4 months and currently working at Salam in Qatar. They are my daughters who just like other pinoys sacrificed a lot for a greener pasture and future. I'm very supportive when it comes to the development and improvement of my kids. I want them to achieve something for themselves something that i can be proud of. Rose Belle is a very generous daughter who always thinks of her family first then herself. She always buys something for me and for her siblings/nephews/friends/relatives as well. The same with Astrid who recently bought a branded bag for me in Dubai. They said its all for the love of me and payback time. I dont expect any in return from any of my children, its my responsibility to nurture and educate them. I just wanted them to experience the good life that goes with having a nice job. I wanted them to explore the world, enhanced their careers after all, i planted a good seed on them, set a good example of having a strong roots and wings.

By the way, just wanted to share my picture at the Top (Burj Khalifa, tallest building in the world) back then and the recent vacation of my daughter Astrid in Dubai.

Astrid's Dubai Family

For the second time, my daughter and her travel buddy did travel to Dubai for a much needed family bonding, shopping, sight seeing and to attend the birthday celebrations of Aleth's brother. They stayed in the tallest hotel in the world the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. It was a nice experience for Astrid seeing the other side of the world. She is very blessed to have the Cruz family in Dubai and i'm really very thankful for their generosity to my daughter.

With that trip, my daughter bought a michael kors bag for me, thanks to the discount courtesy of Glenn, Aleth's brother

I can't help but also reminisce our second Dubai adventure and i would say that this experience is my very best so far.

Bel's Visit to Lethbridge

My daughter and her partner Isko once again visited the Hasketts in Lethbridge, Canada. I did send some stuffs to her and they're going to pick it up. My neighbor friend Yna prepared a sumptuous lunch and i'm really grateful to them for treating them as part of the family.

Lunchout with the Koehler's

It was a nice lunch with Dith and Geo Koehler at Rose and Grace Restaurant in Paseo. We ordered pinoy dishes and enjoyed very much the talk updates on each other. They are a very good friends of ours and just like us, they also decided to retire here which is really a good decision we made in our lives.
