Grill Time

My best friend Joy invited us for some grill time at their place last friday. Over grilled meats, joy and me talked about our family back home while the big boys topics is more on golf. Though the weather is not that cooperative, what is important is the bonding with good family friends.

Ellen's 60th Birthday

A family friend turned 60 yesterday but she looks younger for her age. Ellen's birthday celebration is a big hit and it serve as a reunion for friends. I'm very happy to see my cousins and close friends of my mother. The guests have lots of fun, dancing and participating in some games prepared by the celebrant. Any birthday is a joyous occasion and always a reason to celebrate no matter what the age.

Schloss Staufenberg

Last night we invited our friends for dinner at Staufenberg Castle in Durbach. Every summer we go there for some bonding with friends and we always tried their specialties, the Flammkuchen. The castle with nice view of France and our area is one of the attraction here in Baden Württemberg.

Siony's Birthday Celebration

Wishing you great happiness and a joy that never ends, this is my wish for my very good friend Siony who is celebrating her birthday today with a gathering of friends. She's very happy with our presence but she turns emotional when she thinks of her twin brother who died this year. I haven't seen her for a long time and we're really very happy to be with her on this special day.
