Schnitzel is a popular dish in Germany and is available in all sorts of unique entrees along with many other gourmet favorites. It is made with boneless meat thinned with a hammer, coated in bread crumbs and fried. The schnitzel is also garnished withe a slice of lemon and either vegetable salads, french fries or other side dishes. Its a coincidence that for two consecutive days we ordered the same dishes in two different restaurant 400 kilometers apart. My favorite is the regular schnitzel with french fries and Dirk ordered the shnitzel madagascar.
