Fabi's Wedding

Marriage is a compromise at best. There is nothing wrong with sharing your life with the person you love and who loves you regardless of nationalities. It doesnt matter as long as you understand, love and respect each other. Last Wednesday we did drive to Köln and Düsseldorf for some important appointments and to attend the wedding of Fabi, son of Dirk's bestfriend and former colleague. Join me as i share to you the chronicle of events in our 3-day Köln/Düsseldorf adventure.

Bonding with Dirk's Family

Düsseldorf appointment and shopping

The civil wedding at Köln City Hall. Its the same room that Klaus and Bebel, Fabi's parents have their marriage ceremony 26 years ago. Laura, the bride of Fabi is from Argentina and her family came to witness the event. They met in a graduate school and now both working at Accenture, a management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company.

The newlywed used a vintage bridal car owned by Klaus, Fabi's father (his hobby is collecting oldtimer cars)

The breakfast at Kaffee Jenssen after the wedding ceremony

My Köln adventure is not complete without visiting the Kölner Dom

The wedding dinner party at Chocolate Museum

A visit to the Chocolate museum

By the way our hotel is just beside the Chocolate Museum

Köln shopping

On the way home, we visited my brother-in-law Thomas in Mannheim
