Jaimee's 2nd Birthday

We were in the Philippines when Jaimee Antonie or Mimi as we fondly called her was born. I'm the one who carry her when she and my daughter was discharged from the hospital. We're already in Germany when she was baptized and turned one year old. Looked at her now, she is like a princess but her favorite character is Dora, the explorer. She turned two last June 23 and have a simple childrens birthday party at home. To you Mimi, happy birthday and Mama Lola and Uncle Lolo Dirk loves you very much.

A Mother's Woes

One of the biggest worries for us mothers are our children. Our task is never ending, no day offs or time outs. No amount of money can compensate for the enormous roles that a mother takes, but the hugs, smiles and kisses of our children are enought to lift us up and refresh our soul. Today, i did visited Annika in Klinikum Offenburg where she's confined because of flu. Thanks God she's already okay and was discharged today. I saw myself in Mabel, Annika'y mother, who also stayed up all night when my children are sick and not feeling well. Anyway, its part of raising up our children while we take different roles at different times.

Garden of Joy

For my best friend Joy, there is no hobby as enjoyable, healthy and satisfying as gardening. Maintaining a garden takes effort and time but for her she find a lot of relaxation in watering the plants and tending to her paradise. But for me, i just enjoy the benefits of sitting in a green garden and very happy at the site of plants bearing fruits. I really have fun harvesting some of her bio-fruits the other day, its for Dirk who loves to eat cherries and raspberries.

Dirk just bought a new computer for me, now its more faster and i liked very much the design and features.

Our Vienna Trip

Our recent visit to Vienna, Austria was a combination of business and pleasure trip. Its our second time this year and its more enjoyable because its summer unlike last march that the temperature was minus 15. I really loved Vienna, also described as Europe's cultural capital, a metropolis with unique charm, vibrancy and flair. It boasts outstanding infrastructure, is clean and safe, and has all the inspiration that you could wish for in order to discover this wonderful part of Europe. It is also a dream city for anyone with a romantic streak or an interest in history. Join me as i show you one of the beautiful city in Europe.
