Carmen's Birthday

Today, a very good friend of mine added another milestone in her life. I've known her for ten years already and she's still the same kindhearted and loving big sister to me. The celebration was held in her new garden and was attended by her family, colleague and close friends.
To you Carmen, Happy birthday again and wishing you good health, happiness and more success in life.

Dinner at Engel

Last sunday, we were invited for dinner by the Deichelbohrer family. Its a local restaurant with a beautiful garden. The ambience at Gasthaus Engel is very kid-friendly because the children can play and run around. As always, the food was super delicious though the price is a little bit higher compared to other restaurant, but its worth every cents.

Our Italian Adventure

Our trip to Florence and Pisa, Italy is a birthday gift from my schatz Dirk. To reach the Frankfurt-Hahn airport, we need to drive along the French highway and then Saarbrücken near Luxembourg.
THE ROAD TRIP to Frankfurt-Hahn Airport



THE FLIGHT- we have a very smooth flight from Frankfurt-Hahn to Pisa International Airport. Its an easy travel because we don't have checked-in luggages







OUR HOTEL in Florence- From Pisa International Airport we took a fast train from Pisa to Florence and its a one hour trip. We stayed at Hotel Mirage and feasted on pizza and pasta for lunch




FLORENCE Adventure- It is one of the most beautiful cities in Italy and center of Italian Renaissance. Florence's museums, palaces, and churches house some of the greatest artistic treasures in the world. It is not my first time to visit Italy, i've been to Milan but i find Florence and Pisa an interesting and wonderful place.















The SHOPPING- this is the part that i liked most. I only have one bag going to Italy and returned with two full of girly stuff, leather shoes, bags, t-shirts and souvenirs.






PISA TRIP- From Florence, we took again a regional train going to Pisa. We stayed at Republiqa Marinara, a four star hotel near the city. Its really a dream come true for me to visit Pisa and what is exciting here... its the leaning tower which i only saw before in books and magazines and the century old cathedrals.







The PISA CATHEDRAL- The Cathedral is nearby the Leaning Tower of Pisa in the heart of the Piazza del Duomo. It was adorned through the years with numerous works of art.







The LEANING TOWER OF PISA is famous because it leans. Although it can be considered a real masterpiece of architecture, this monument is mostly famous for its strong inclination. It can be safely stated that it is undoubtedly due to a sinking of the ground right from the time of its construction. The leaning tower and the cathedrals are the main attraction in Pisa.










We're tired of eating pizza and pasta and for a change, we tried the restaurant near the leaning tower for dinner.



The JOURNEY BACK HOME- We have a safe flight from Pisa to Frankfurt Hahn. Its really a wonderful experience and THANKS to my schatz DIRK for the trip and THANK YOU LORD for making things possible and for keeping us safe during the travel.
