Yesterday, the 15 year old daughter of Dirk visited us at home. The last time we saw her was last year and she's really tall for her age. How time flies very fast, she's just 4 year old when i first met her and now she's taller than me. The father and daughter also have some bonding moments at the pool. But of course she enjoyed it the most with her close friend, Lissy.

Lucy's Birthday

Birthdays give us the opportunities to appreciate all the wonderful blessings in our life. And it becomes more meaningful when we celebrated it with our loved ones. Lucy, a very good friend of mine added another milestone on her life the other day. It was just a very simple gatherings since her birthday falls on Good Friday.

Eating and dining is a communal activities that is very important to our social lives both with our family and friends. Foods become the focus in some of the milestones in our lives. It is over the table that we celebrate, pain is shared and memories are made. Thats why i really love to cook, bake and share it with friends, after all, friendship develops over foods and drinks.

Good Friday

A blessed holy week to everyone. Easter is our most important holiday in the Philippines which celebrates Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead. It is a time for reflection and ask for forgiveness for all our sins. Today commemorates the passion, sufferings and crucifixion of our Lord saviour Jesus Christ. Many christians spend this day in fasting, prayer, repentance, visita iglesia and meditation on the agony and suffering of Christ on the cross.

Birthdays are feathers in the wing of time and yesterday, Grace added another milestone in her life. It was just a simple celebration attended by close friends.
