Monday Food Shopping

The weather condition is really weird as if winter comes before autumn. Its raining and the temperature reached ten degrees in the morning. For a change my BFF Joy and me decided to shop at Kaufland for a change. We first bring our empty bottles to redeem our deposit and i was surprised that instead of machine, there is an assigned employee to collect all the bottles.


I'm supposed to buy a few food stuff and roasted chicken but we ended up with a shopping cart full of foods.




By the way, our employer Herr Ullrich grilled spare ribs for our lunch today. It tastes good and being the chef in the hotel, he also cooked the best steaks in town.

Family Reunion

Yesterday, my brother in law Thomas celebrated his birthday at their new place in Weinheim. The celebrations was also a sort of family reunion between his family and ours. It's supposed to be a garden party but it rained so it became an indoor celebration. The foods are a mixture of grilled meats, salads and Filipino dishes.

Early Dinner at Karstadt

Today, Lucy and me returned the Ipanema flip-flops at Karstadt. I admit its my fault that i didnt check if it had the same size. We then browsed around the store for more sale items and decided to have an early dinner in the restaurant located on the upper floor.

Tuesday with Friends

Elena, a family friend returned yesterday after a 3-week vacation in the Philippines. She said they enjoyed very much their vacation in Cebu, Boracay, Bohol and Dumaguete. She did bring some dried fish for dinner and the girls really enjoyed eating by hand. I also have my therapeutic massage from Nanay Dedeng and feel good afterwards.






For snack, i did bring Puto, the girls favorites.




By the way, Mueller store is back in business today after an electrical problem the other day, thus, explained the presence of firetrucks last monday.

Monday Shopping

After our lunch at Agnes' place today, cecil and me decided to shop at Muller to buy a candle holder. We're surprised that the sales staff are in a hurry to bring inside the items displayed outside considering that its still too early for store closing time. Then we hear the alarming sounds of firetrucks, police cars and ambulance in front and at the back of the store. We don't see any smoke from the building and wondering whats really happening inside the store.




We ended up shopping for girly stuff at Mode Boschert and Pimkie

Hospital Visit

Before going to the Nussbach sunflower festival, we visited Rizza in Ortenau Klinikum Achern. They were figured in a motorcycle accident last thursday and had her knee operation today. Accidents do happen but we should do something to avoid it by driving carefully and with protective suit.

Lalaine's Birthday

Yesterday, Lalaine celebrated her birthday at the Chinese Restaurant in Bühl. Her natal day was last Friday but she chose a low key celebration with just close friends in attendance. There's no dull moment with the presence of Elke, our lone german friend guest and a neighbor of the birthday celebrant. She served as our clown with her funny stories and antics thats why i was not able to sleep well because of indigestion.






Most of us were on diet but we cannot control ourselves with the foods on the buffet table. For us, there's always the next day for diet again.

Lunch and Massage

Today, we have lunch at Agnes' place again. She cooked beef nilaga, fried chicken and paksiw. After filling our empty stomach, the mother of one of the girls massaged our back and somehow relieved us of our back and muscles pain.
