SRCLC Diabetes Awareness Program

Its my first time to attend our Lions outreach program since we arrived two months ago. I am very happy to see my fellow Lions again as we successfully give medicines for diabetes, lecture the seniors on this sickness, feeding program for them and sugar blood testing for the residents of Pulong Santa Cruz, here in Santa Rosa, Laguna. Its surprising to know that some of them didn't even know that they don't have a normal blood sugar. Any way, they are very happy with our campaign and hope i can attend to our club's other projects in the coming weeks.

SF Get Together

Its been a while since our last get together with our south forbes neighbor friends. Our spontaneous potluck dinner happened last saturday and we really missed each other. Once again, we have a never ending catching up moments and bonding to the max.

Dirk's Operation

My better half had undergone prostate operation by removing a big mass on his scrotum. He is complaining about this since two years but his urologist suggested to try first medication but to no avail. So last tuesday, he has his scrotum exploration operation at Osmun and thanks God it was successful. Thanks to my daughter in law Lyn who processed and assisted in everything. Hope and pray that his post operation will be good as well.

Gloria's Fantasyland

One of the highlight of our trip here in Dapitam City is my Gloria's Fantasyland experience as if i'm young again at heart. It is a world class commercial center and amusement theme park. It is the brainchild of the Jalosjos, the same owners of the famouse Dakak beach resort. The theme park provide all in one fun with lots of rides, 5d cinema, horror house and also showcased amazing performances, parades and festival of lights&color. It was really a very nice experience in which the entrance ticket to the Fantasyland is also included in the room package.

Villa Angelina Beach Resort-Dakak

We stayed at Villa Angelina Luxury Suites during our vacation here. This 3 year old resort is within Dakak beach resort and its their high end part because of the price, We enjoyed  the 150 square meter beachfront casita villa room which is just a walking distance to the beach and the restaurant. The infinity pool was sooo great and we enjoyed it very much. The resort also offers the best facilities and amenities for their guests while enjoying the great relaxing view of the ocean as well as the white sand beaches. Bt the way, we had the opportunity to meet the resort owner Mr. Jalosjos who is very kind and even showed us the cliffside room ....
